Fat Ox BBQ started the way the best BBQ usually does: with a crew that was obsessed with getting better every cook.
Founded in 2021 by Ty Cranmore, Fat Ox grew to than just a competition team and turned into a real-world BBQ brand built on long days, hot pits, and a simple goal—make sauce and food that people actually remember. What began as a competition team became a food truck, then catering and pop-ups, and now a full product line built for backyard cooks, pitmasters, and anyone who wants bold flavor without the gimmicks.

Our flagship line is “Not the Best” BBQ Sauce—a name that’s half joke, half challenge. We don’t do hype. We let the flavor do the talking.
